Michał Krawczak, PhD, assistant professor at Anthropology and Cultural Studies Department (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland), co-founder and program director of Humanities /Art /Technology Research Center.

Author of texts about media arts, media violence, media activism and media ecologies. Editor of “Post-technological Experiences. Art-Science-Culture” (AMU Press 2019), co-editor of “Postcollectivity. Situated Knowledge and Practice” (with A. Jelewska, J. Reid; Brill 2024), and co-author of “Nuclear Gaia. Media Archives of Planetary Harm” (with A. Jelewska; Intellect Books 2025) and “Exposing Violence. Collaborative Media Practices and Aesthetics of Radical Truth” (with A. Jelewska; MIT Press 2026). Researcher, designer, and curator of art and science projects, such as Transnature is Here (2013), Post-Apocalypsis (2015), Anaesthesia (2016), Artropocene (2017), Solastalgia (2021), Remember (me) (2024). His main research fields are modern forms of violence and the cultural consequences of climate change from the perspective of media and cultural studies.
